Tech intensity is a phrase created by Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft [image]

As computing becomes embedded in every aspect of our lives, there will be no longer such thing a thing as the tech sector. The world will be transformed through tech intensity at scale. Every organization will need to not only adopt the latest technology, but more importantly, build their own unique digital technology, or be left behind.

— Satya Nadella, CEO Microsoft, at the 2014 Microsoft Build event

Since stepping up as CEO in 2014, Satya Nadella has returned Microsoft to being one of the most valuable companies in the world. He re-organized the company to focus on customers, collaboration, learning and innovation.

Nadella challenges his employees to “achieve more.” He expects them to help customers develop new solutions. Technology is deployed as empowerment for people. Software developers work with teams of domain experts to integrate all functions across the business.

As a result, Microsoft technology, including cloud services, has become a bridge across companies, industries, and platforms. The cloud management Azure platform supports Linux and other servers. Azure Active Directory supports B2B collaboration among companies.

Nadella is not afraid of supporting his competitors, especially Apple and Google. Office 365 runs natively on the new Apple M1 processor. The new Outlook will support iCloud accounts. The new Windows 11 will run Android apps, supporting the Google ecosystem.

So now we are all on a journey to take part in this new world of tech intensity. We have to empower our employees with a healthy flow of information and opportunities to grow. At E6 Solutions, we have the experience and expertise to guide you on this steep path.
